Position Title: Robot Framework Developer
Location: Panama City Beach, FL
Clearance: Top Secret (preferred) or Secret (required)
Position Overview:
ISPA Technology is hiring a TAF / Robot Framework Developer to help build and expand automated testing capabilities for external test activities. This role focuses on automated test framework development, with Robot Framework called out specifically in the opening details. You will work with engineers and testers to translate manual validation steps into durable, readable, maintainable automation that increases coverage, shortens regression cycles, and improves confidence in delivered systems.
What You Will Do
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test capabilities using Robot Framework and related test automation tooling.
- Build reusable libraries, keywords, fixtures, data-driven test patterns, and execution workflows.
- Integrate automated tests into delivery or verification pipelines where appropriate.
- Collaborate with test engineers and system owners to identify high-value manual procedures suitable for automation.
- Improve test reporting, traceability, and defect reproduction through well-structured automation artifacts.
- Support framework documentation, code hygiene, maintainability, and long-term team adoption.

Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience developing automated tests or test frameworks.
- Experience with Robot Framework, Python-based test tooling, or comparable automation ecosystems.
- Strong software craftsmanship in readable, maintainable automation code.
- Ability to work with testers and engineers to turn test intent into durable automation assets.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD or DevSecOps workflows.
- Background in system, integration, or hardware/software test environments.
- Familiarity with defense, regulated, or mission-support engineering programs.
