Description

Starkey is hiring for a Cycle Count Coordinator at our Plainfield, IN Distribution Center. This position is responsible for ensuring that cycle counts are done regularly to maintain accuracy in our inventories by running daily cycle count reports, monitoring oracle transaction, monitoring that the inventory is correct, and
investigating the causes of discrepancies to fix. Support EP, GDC, and MX inventory control.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/RESULTS

Perform Cycle Count Duties.

o Perform physical count according to the cycle countsheet.
o Enter count sheet into the system.
o Review and approve cycle counts based on tolerance and according to supervisor approval.
o Maintain communication with EP, GL, and MX Inventory control to review open counts discrepancies.

Ensure daily monitoring of transactions
o Review receiving transactions for accuracy and completion.
o Review pending organization's invoices for accuracy and completion.

Monitor and perform oracle transactions.
o Audit manual oracle transactions from each department.
o Audit P.O. receipts
o Monitor oracle alerts.
o Support inventory task as needed for lost control and expired material.
o Follow up on scrap disposition.
o Follow up on delivery performance involving inventory discrepancies.
* Perform other duties/responsibilities as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education, Certification and Experience Requirements

Education
o High school diploma required

Experience
o Previous inventory experience required
o Minimum of 1 year in Level I position desired (or equivalent experience)

Knowledge / Technical Requirements
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) desired.
* Basic math knowledge required.
* Basic Microsoft office knowledge required

Competencies, Skills & Abilities
* Effective communication and interpersonal/people skillsrequired.
* Good organizational skillsrequired.
* Good attention to detail required.
* Analysis skills required.
* Data entry skills required.
* Computer skills required: Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook, and InternetExplorer.
* Critical thinking and problem solving.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

WORK CONTEXT
* Standard office and warehouse conditions
* Regular attendance and responsiveness to reasonable job-related directives as given by thesupervisor.
* Noise and heat from machines and tape guns in work area.
* Stand and move around throughout the day

Equipment Operation
* Standard office and warehouse equipment such as scan and copier machine, mobile carts, tape guns,
cutters, step ladder, pallet jack, label printers, scanners, scales, shrink wrap

Salary and Other Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is between $19.25 - $28.28 / hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
