POSITION SUMMARYThe Senior Internal Audit Analyst will start to lead and execute complex audit engagements, providing independent and objective assessments of the organization's operations. This role involves mentoring junior auditors and contributing to the continuous improvement of the audit function. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and conduct comprehensive audits of financial, operational, and compliance processes.
  • Prepare audit reports highlighting key findings and recommendations and present findings to management.
  • Test the effectiveness of internal controls by examining records, reports, operating practices, and related support, document test findings and report to management.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the internal control frameworks by understanding control processes and recommending new or alternative controls, policies and/or procedures to mitigate risk and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure the implementation of audit recommendations.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of audit methodologies and tools.
  • Assist department management in the facilitation of the company's Enterprise Risk Management process.
  • Perform substantive audit procedures related to the annual financial audit.
  • Supervise, manage and mentor interns.
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
  • A strong desire to proactively learn the business and engage in process improvement activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in internal auditing or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to change quickly and multi-task.
  • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred:

  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CIA) preferred.
