A Senior Data Engineer in Manufacturing BI is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines, architecture, and systems that enable the collection, transformation, and analysis of manufacturing data. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, domain knowledge, and leadership skills to ensure data availability, integrity, and usability for business intelligence applications.

Our Team

You'll join a dynamic Content Syndication team supporting our Brand, Marketing, and eCommerce divisions. We work cross-functionally to ensure our product content is accurate, impactful, and a true competitive advantage for the business.

This role is hybrid and located in Atlanta, GA. The expectation is 3 days in office per week.

What You Will Do

  • Design, develop, and manage large-scale ETL pipelines using modern data engineering tools and cloud platforms
  • Build and enhance data products, pipelines, and tools that support the full data lifecycle-from proof of concept and prototyping to production deployment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions
  • Review existing data architectures and solutions to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement
  • Develop, enhance, and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability
  • Leverage developer productivity tools where relevant to support advanced analytics use cases and improved developer efficiency

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience designing, implementing and maintaining large-scale ETL and data engineering solutions
  • Hands-on experience building and operating data pipelines, including ingestion, transformation, orchestration and monitoring
  • Experience with CI/CD, Git and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Experience in dimensional data modeling, SQL and Python
  • Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without requiring visa transfer or sponsorship

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field
  • Experience in the manufacturing domain, particularly with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)
  • Experience with industrial data platforms such as HighByte Intelligence Hub
  • Experience with the MSBI stack: SSIS, SSAS, SSRS and/or PowerBi
  • Experience with AWS data engineering services such as S3, Glue, Lamda, Step Functions, Redshift and IAM
  • Experience with GenAI coding assistants such as Cursor and Github CoPilot
