As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Specialist in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the property. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, members, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and/or actions taken according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, ATM and drive-through areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Support opening and closing activities, observe cash handling and other high-value operations from an armed presence standpoint, and assist with emergency situations and/or requested security-related escorts as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
