As a Financial Advisor Services Consultant, you will partner with our recruiting teams and field leadership to provide a delightful and seamless experience to Advisors, their business, and clients' onboarding to RBC Wealth Management.

What will you do?

  • Partner with branch, complex and divisional management teams to coordinate and execute a best-in-class onboarding experience
  • Partner with internal teams to help with adding services to and advisors book of business
    • Primary focus will be account inception into advisory programs
    • Secondary services (ACH, Checking, etc.) as needed
  • Assist in the onboarding of new FAs, support staff and clients
  • Assist with integration of the AOS platform into the onboarding process to expedite account opening and the transition of client assets to US Wealth Management
  • Provide onsite support to enhance the onboarding experience for recruits and their clients, through coaching of best practices
  • Leverage Salesforce to automate and streamline onboarding processes
  • Develop, update and maintain resources used internally within the team and with the field-such as procedures, templates and checklists
  • Gather feedback to drive platform enhancements that create a more efficient and holistic onboarding experience for both Financial Advisors and their clients (AOS, Wealth Management Online, Cash Management, etc.)
  • Participate in transition calls with new recruits to ensure all transition needs are met prior to start date

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Bachelor's degree or job-related experience

  • 1-3 years' experience at a wealth management firm
  • Proven dedication to and focus on client service
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to ask critical questions, anticipate problems/future needs and take ownership
  • Ability to travel for business as needed (40-50%)

Nice-to-have

  • Demonstrated experience supporting financial advisors and client associates at a wealth management firm
  • Demonstrated experience working with different functional groups at a wealth management firm
  • Series 7 and 66 (or ability to attain)

The expected salary range for this particular position is $55,000-$95,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.

You have the potential to earn more through RBC's discretionary variable compensation program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
