Description Job Title: Inspector Location: Ventura, CA Employment Type: Temp (4 Months) Industry: Aerospace and Defense Compensation: $24.00-$41.00/ Hour Schedule: 4/10 1st Shift About the Opportunity: Perform visual and dimensional inspection of in-process and completed products, including electronic units, electromechanical assemblies, and mechanical components Ensure products meet predetermined specifications, quality standards, and inspection criteria Identify defects such as structural flaws, internal issues, and missing welds Determine disposition of products by accepting, rejecting, or recommending rework Work from blueprints, diagrams, and inspection instructions to verify product compliance Support quality assurance processes, including statistical process control, where applicable. APPLY TODAY What You'll Do: Inspect products using predetermined methods, operations, and prescribed specifications Conduct visual inspections for defects, including structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds Use measuring devices such as dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, and fixtures Interpret blueprints, diagrams, customer specifications, and inspection checklists Verify in-process and completed units against quality standards Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems Monitor and verify quality using statistical process control (SPC) or other control procedures Follow inspection procedures and documentation requirements. Job Requirements What You'll Bring: High School Diploma or GED 3+ years of experience in product inspection 2+ years of experience in Visual Inspection Additional Information: Requires the ability to obtain an Active Secret Clearance Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
