In this role, you will play a critical part in the design, troubleshooting, testing, qualification, and evaluation of weapon controller based electronic systems (the brains of a nuclear weapon) as well as support existing systems in production and sustainment. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to Nuclear Deterrence programs that require exceptional performance, reliability, and rigor. The role includes developing detailed in-depth knowledge of the product, its functionality, system-level integration and product testers. As a successful candidate, you will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust electrical design and qualification solutions and support ongoing production systems. You will actively engage in the design, production and sustainment for controller products. You will collaborate closely with the Kansas City National Security Campus (KCNSC) Production Agency (PA), Sandia Design Agency (DA) Product Realization Team (PRT), and Subject Matter Experts (SME) to understand and influence requirements, design elements, testing, analysis, and production troubleshooting. Your insights will be crucial for diagnosing anomalies, proposing corrective actions, and assisting with unit dispositioning. This role is designed for growth, providing you with the knowledge and experience to take on increasing responsibilities in future programs. You will have the opportunity to influence designs and requirements through effective communication of your findings and solutions, positioning yourself for advancement within the team. Your ability to collaborate, communicate, and interface with stakeholders will be vital to our collective success.
