Demand and Fulfillment Lead

Fike Corporation, a rapidly growing international manufacturer of pressure relief, explosion protection, fire suppression and detection equipment, has an opportunity for a Demand and Fulfillment Lead position. Fike is a privately held business located in Blue Springs, MO with over 400 employees locally & over 1,200 employees worldwide.



Job Summary:

Leads the daily Demand & Fulfillment process, serving as the primary connection between the commercial teams and operations to ensure customer and market needs are understood, prioritized, and executed effectively. Translates commercial priorities into coordinated action across Planning, Purchasing, and Customer Experience (CX) to maintain flow through the organization and deliver on commitments. Oversees day-to-day activities across these functions through influence and alignment, ensuring clarity of priorities, balance of constraints, and cross-functional problem solving. Applies advanced knowledge of supply chain, order management, and materials flow to integrate the customer promise with operational capability. Work requires initiative, judgment, and leadership across multiple functions to align the organization around what matters most to the customer.



Primary Responsibilities:

1. Leads the daily Demand & Fulfillment process to ensure commercial priorities are clearly understood and executed across Planning, Purchasing, and Customer Experience (CX).


2. Serves as the primary point of contact for the Sales and Commercial teams, translating customer and market needs into actionable priorities for operations.


3. Facilitates daily and weekly coordination among functional teams to ensure alignment on demand, constraints, material flow, and delivery commitments.


4. Balances competing priorities to maintain system flow and protect commitments to customers using Theory of Constraints principles.


5. Identifies emerging risks or disconnects between demand and capability; drives cross-functional problem solving to restore flow and improve reliability.


6. Maintains visibility of end-to-end order performance and ensures timely resolution of issues affecting customer delivery.


7. Guides planners, buyers, and CX specialists through influence and coordination, ensuring their efforts are focused on the highest-impact activities.


8. Partners with operations and logistics teams to anticipate constraints and proactively manage them before they affect customer commitments.


9. Provides insight to leadership on trends, recurring barriers, and opportunities to improve responsiveness and decision quality.


10. Leads or participates in cross-functional projects and initiatives to enhance alignment between commercial and operational processes.


11. Performs work according to Fike Corporation policies, procedures and goals, and according to the direction of Supply Chain Management.


12. Adheres to the Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) policies and procedures related to NIST 800-171 and completes all required CUI Awareness training.


13. Maintains the confidentiality of all information processed.

Performs related duties as assigned. Regular and consistent attendance is required.

While performing the duties of this job, the environment is general office work and the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, hear, see, sit, and use hands.



Job Qualifications:

REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Five years of progressive experience in supply chain, commercial operations, or materials management, with demonstrated ability to lead across functions. Advanced understanding of demand and fulfillment principles, inventory flow, and customer order management within a manufacturing environment. Proven ability to interpret commercial priorities and translate them into operational execution. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office Suite.



PREFERRED: Masters Degree in Business or related field. APICS CPIM and CIRM certifications. Experience working in organizations undergoing ERP transitions or digital transformation initiatives.



Compensation: The pay range for this position is $67,527 to $84,402 a year. May increase depending on the level of experience of the candidate.
