QA Engineer (Automation) III

The Automation team plays a key role in designing and delivering intelligent, AI-driven solutions that enhance product quality and scalability. The team is responsible for building and maintaining automated testing frameworks and ensuring seamless integration of new features.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative QA Engineer to design and develop automation solutions aligned with product requirements. This role partners cross-functionally with product, engineering, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software through scalable automation strategies.

The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in both software development and test automation, with the ability to think strategically, execute efficiently, and collaborate effectively in an Agile environment.

• Design and develop AI-driven automation solutions aligned with product requirements
  
• Develop and maintain test strategies, plans, test cases, and automation scripts for new and existing features
  
• Balance multiple initiatives, including new feature development, documentation, and timely delivery
  
• Communicate progress and status through sprint reviews, reports, presentations, and demos
  
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and cross-functional meetings to support collaboration
  
• Ensure quality and reliability through continuous testing, monitoring, and optimization
  

• 5-7 years of professional software development or QA automation experience
  
• Proficiency in PHP for backend development (Laravel or Symfony preferred)
  
• Strong experience with React.js, including hooks, component lifecycle, and state management
  
• Working knowledge of Python for scripting, automation, or backend services
  
• Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and query optimization
  
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
  
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
  
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  

• Experience with Python frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI
  
• Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
  
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  
• Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG)
  
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
  

• This opportunity is located in Cupertino, CA or Culver City, CA and requires hybrid work
  
• The pay for this W-2 position is $80.00 per hour
