**What You'll Do:**

* Lead the seasonal color design and direction for performance apparel, encompassing signature, branded, and licensed products.

* Drive compelling new color theories for sports footwear and apparel, setting trends and inspiring innovation.

* Lead a design team in creating unique seasonal collections, developing comprehensive storytelling and original content.

* Collaborate closely with design counterparts, Product Management, and Development teams to ensure cohesive product execution.

* Build engaging, trend-driven narratives that meet the needs of target consumers and elevate product appeal.

* Communicate design intent effectively, assist with schematic creation, and actively participate in reviewing and workshopping prototypes.

* Manage and design high-impact presentation materials, confidently presenting concepts to internal teams and leadership.

* Operate as an individual contributor, reporting to a Senior Manager, while fostering a collaborative environment within a team of approximately 10 others.

**What You'll Bring:**

**Required Qualifications:**

* 6+ years of progressive experience in a similar design role, with a strong portfolio showcasing color design expertise.

* BA/BFA/MA/MFA preferred in graphic design, fashion design, industrial design, apparel design, material design, textile design, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education, experience, and training will be considered.

* Professional-level proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

* Experience with Miro, CLO 3D, and Vizcom.

* Comprehensive knowledge of current and emerging design and fashion trends in sportswear and streetwear.

* Strong foundation and knowledge of textiles, including applications and properties.

* Proficiency in all aspects of graphic and product design, including drawing/sketching, illustration, CAD development, typography, print and pattern development, trim creation, color theory, and technical applications.

* Foundational understanding of apparel construction, schematic development, and tech pack creation.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly.

* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and timelines effectively, thriving under tight deadlines.

* A versatile and creative problem-solver with a keen eye for detail.

* Ability to translate consumer insights into thoughtful narratives and compelling graphic storytelling.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**

* Strong presentation skills, with the ability to confidently present to both internal and external audiences.

* Experience in both footwear and apparel design.

* A passion for sports and athletic culture.
