Job Summary

We're seeking an Enablement Specialist who will design and build scalable internal systems that power how teams operate. This role focuses on architecting Airtable-based solutions at the intersection of people and data.

This is not an administrative support role. You will not simply maintain tables or manage permissions. You will analyze how work happens, design relational data models that reflect reality, and build tools that reduce friction across departments.

The systems you create should feel intuitive to users and structurally sound under the hood.

You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate messy, human workflows into clear, maintainable, and scalable systems that drive consistent execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, structure, and maintain Airtable bases with sound relational architecture and clean data models
  • Build role-based interfaces aligned to how different teams think and operate
  • Create and manage automations that reduce manual effort, prevent errors, and improve visibility
  • Evaluate existing workflows and identify opportunities for simplification, standardization, and scale
  • Partner with stakeholders to clarify pain points and translate ambiguity into structured systems
  • Balance usability with technical integrity so solutions are both powerful and practical
  • Ensure data consistency, hygiene, and long-term maintainability across solutions
  • Use feedback and usage patterns to continuously improve systems
  • Produce documentation, usage guides, and process standards to support adoption
  • Collaborate with operations, product, and leadership to prioritize enhancements and align systems to business objectives

Required Qualifications

  • 2-4+ years of experience building in Airtable, database, or comparable no/low-code platforms
  • Strong understanding of relational data structures, field types, normalization, and scalable schema design
  • Experience building automations, integrations, and conditional logic
  • Ability to translate ambiguous, people-driven workflows into structured systems
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience managing multiple initiatives while thinking long-term about architecture
  • Comfort iterating, testing, and refining solutions based on real-world usage
  • Detail-oriented with strong attention to clarity, structure, and user experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting shared systems across multiple teams or departments
  • Familiarity with Zapier, Make, APIs, or other integration platforms
  • Basic understanding of data governance and access controls
  • Experience in enablement, operations, or field-facing environments
  • Familiarity with AI tools, structured data for LLM use cases, or workflow optimization
  • Familiarity with SQL and querying databases

Competencies & Mindset

  • Systems thinker who looks for root causes rather than surface fixes
  • Naturally curious and analytical; asks "why" before building "how"
  • Comfortable operating at the intersection of human behavior and structured data
  • Strong collaborator across departments
  • Builds for durability and scale, not quick patches
  • Takes ownership and pride in creating tools others rely on daily

Working Conditions

  • Full-time
  • Hybrid work possible (depending on policy)
  • Periodic in-person collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Some initiatives may have tight timelines; flexibility is important

Salary & Benefits

Salary: $75-$80k per year, depending on experience

Benefits: Health, dental, vision, retirement matching, paid time off, on-site cafe, and more.
