Pay Range: $30.00 - $34.00/Hour + Full Benefits

BBSI is partnering with a well-established and growing manufacturing company to hire a hands-on HR Specialist who will play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations, employee engagement, and administrative functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being both in the office and out on the floor, supporting employees directly while keeping HR processes organized, compliant, and running smoothly.

Position Overview

The HR Specialist will support core HR functions including payroll coordination, employee relations support, and administrative processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires someone who is tactical, detail-oriented, and approachable, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels. This is a hands-on, support-focused HR role-ideal for someone who thrives in execution and enjoys being a go-to resource for employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with payroll processing and coordination
  • Support employee requests (time off, benefits questions, documentation, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
  • Assist with onboarding and new hire orientation
  • Provide day-to-day HR administrative support
  • Act as a point of contact for employees on the floor and in the office
  • Support compliance with company policies and labor regulations
  • Assist with employee relations matters as needed
  • Partner with leadership to ensure smooth communication between HR and operations
  • Help maintain a positive and productive work environment

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
  • Experience in an HR Admin / Coordinator / Specialist role
  • Bilingual Spanish (required)
  • Experience supporting payroll processes
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Comfortable working in both an office and production floor setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
