Program Overview Role: Undergraduate 2026 LG Summer Intern - HR Payroll Team Duration: 9-week program (June 1st - July 31st) Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8 AM - 5 PM (Onsite) Location: LG North America Innovation Campus (HQ), Englewood Cliffs, NJ Compensation: $25.00 per hour The LG Experience Our Summer Internship Program isn't just about gaining experience - it's about building real skills, tackling real projects, and seeing your ideas come to life. Exposure to everything from smart devices to sustainable solutions. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join our team at the NJ Headquarters (onsite). This internship is designed for a student pursuing a degree in Finance or Accounting. The intern will gain experience and knowledge in the world of Payroll Tax, which includes Federal, State and Local taxation. Responsibilities Assist in obtaining login/password information for state and local jurisdictions, across six companies. Respond and manage tax notices as received, as well as help clean up historical notices. Ensure tax compliance with state and local agencies via research and phone calls. Run reports and create spreadsheets for quarterly and annual balancing. Participate in scheduled meetings and provide consistent progress updates to leadership. Help with process improvements as requested. Create documentation and user guides for newly developed processes. Payroll administrative work, as needed. Qualifications Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program majoring in Finance or Accounting. Technical Skills: Strong foundational knowledge of Excel. Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and find variances with the provided tools. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
