What this job involves

The Engineering Program Coordinator provides superior internal client support for program management and engineering teams across JLL's Engineering business unit. This role is part of a newly developed "Center of Excellence" organization focused on leading innovation, efficiency, and supporting the client's real estate strategy. The specialist will collaborate with IFM, Engineering Operations, and Business Services teams nationwide to develop solutions, build enterprise reporting and analytics capabilities, and reshape Commercial Real Estate through data-driven insights. This position involves supporting program development and implementation across data management, data governance, data quality, learning and development programs, strategy alignment, and reporting. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams, technology partners, cross-functional engineering groups, and stakeholders to maintain program documentation, manage project trackers, and ensure best practices are followed.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Managing program and owner's representative responsibilities including preparing program management reports, coordinating meetings, and facilitating program discussions
  • Managing all program and project documentation including contracts, budgets, schedules, and maintaining best practices templates on SharePoint sites
  • Maintaining program management status trackers and JIRA boards to ensure accurate project visibility and progress tracking across all initiatives
  • Proactively managing project-related issues on accounts or assignments, identifying potential roadblocks and coordinating resolution with appropriate stakeholders
  • Demonstrating proficiency in the use and application of all program management technology required for assigned projects
  • Supporting data management, data governance, and data quality initiatives that enable enterprise reporting and analytics capabilities
  • Collaborating with globally located organizations, product management, engineering teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to implement program solutions and roadmaps

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Standard office environment with desk-based work
  • Collaboration with teams across multiple locations nationwide and globally
  • Role requires interaction with internal teams, technology partners, and cross-functional stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, architecture/engineering, interior design, or construction management
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with executive level internal and external clients
  • Organizational and detail-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize and manage differing needs of the business
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and organizations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and coordinating meetings

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of practical experience in program management, project coordination, or related fields
  • Accounting experience or previous real estate support roles for project managers
  • Familiarity with SharePoint for document management and collaboration
  • Experience with JIRA or similar project tracking and management tools
  • Knowledge of data management, data governance, or data quality principles
  • Understanding of program management methodologies and best practices
  • Exposure to Commercial Real Estate operations or engineering business units

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Estimated compensation for this position:

46,000.00 - 56,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
