Primary Purpose of Position
The primary purpose of the position is the Camp Counselor supports the Entrepreneurs & Innovators NexGen Residential Summer Camp by supervising and mentoring high school participants while ensuring a safe, engaging, and inclusive residential environment. The role assists with program activities, enforces policies, and serves as a positive role model to promote student learning, leadership, and overall camp success.

Sunday-Friday (Residential Summer Camp)
8 am- 5 pm
Session 1: Sunday, June 14, 2026 - Friday, June 19, 2026
Session 2: Sunday, June 21, 2026 - Friday, June 26, 2026
Primary Function of Organizational Unit
The Center of Excellence in Entrepreneurship & Innovation ( CEEI) at North Carolina A&T State University promotes entrepreneurial thinking, innovation, and leadership through academic programs, experiential learning opportunities, and outreach initiatives. The unit supports student development by providing hands-on experiences, including camps and workshops, that foster creativity, business acumen, and problem-solving skills.
Minimum Requirements
Must be a current undergraduate student (rising sophomore through senior preferred).
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Interest in leadership, education, entrepreneurship, or youth development encouraged.
Previous experience working with youth is a plus but not required.
Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
Must complete required background checks and training prior to camp start.

0-2 years working with youth, mentoring, or in camp/leadership roles preferred
Skills and Competencies
