Join our Team: Product Manager, Parts and Aftermarket

Location: Bothell, WA

Reports to: Global Product Director - Parts & Aftermarket

Travel: Up to 25%

The key responsibility of the Product Manager, Parts and Aftermarket, is to provide product, customer and market expertise to drive growth for the Genie parts and aftermarket portfolio. The role will support and own roadmaps within the Genie parts growth strategy including channel growth and experience improvement, expanded parts offering in both genuine and all makes, parts captivity, kitting solutions and other initiatives. This position will also play a key role in operational excellence in pricing, SIOP and managing to plan parts revenue, margin and wallet share.

This position will also drive decision making on new product development through scope & specification requirements, competitive benchmarking, financial analysis, and marketing collateral development working with commercial, engineering, operations and supply chain teams. Demand generation and sales support activities may include product demonstrations, delivering value selling training, and direct customer engagement.

This position may require travel up to 25% and will require work across global time zones.

What you'll do

  • Be a product and application subject matter expert for the product portfolio with extensive technical product knowledge, jobsite and application knowledge, and competitive and market knowledge,
  • Actively gather voice of the customer and market research to inform decision making throughout the product life cycle,
  • Provide excellent internal and external customer support on product specific issues and new opportunities including leading product trainings, attending trade shows, and visiting customers to generate demand,
  • Identify opportunities for differentiation of our products, services, and solutions that result in industry leading new products and offerings. Make recommendations for innovative solutions to improve our short-term and long-term competitive position differentiation through quality and TCO,
  • Convert those recommendations into projects with leadership and salesmanship. Expand the portfolio with accretive new products, being an active leader within new product development projects and pipeline. Prioritize and execute on projects, considering customer impact versus available resources.
  • Manage and grow revenue, margin and wallet share for parts.
  • Lead or support roadmaps of the Genie parts growth strategy, including channel growth and experience improvement, expanded parts offering in both genuine and all makes, parts captivity, kitting solutions and other initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the position.

What you'll bring

  • 5+ years experience in product, engineering, service, sales, or relevant field experience within aerial or similar heavy equipment industry,
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred,
  • Strong English communication and presentations skills, additional languages are beneficial,
  • Capable of operating and demonstrating aerial equipment,
  • Leadership experience in cross-functional teams, whether as a supervisor or indirect leadership.

Salary: The salary for this role is $127k - 142k. The salary range will vary based on relevant experience.
