The location of this position is at 4677 Manufacturing Road, Cleveland, OH 44135.

Responsibilities & Expectations:

We are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to oversee daily shipping, receiving, and inventory operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and safety while supporting overall service center performance. Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and supervise daily shipping, receiving, and material handling activities.
  • Plan, coordinate, and prioritize workload for shipping/receiving team to meet production and customer timelines.
  • Ensure accurate picking, packing, staging, and movement of materials while maintaining proper documentation and inventory records.
  • Oversee safe operation of overhead cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
  • Conduct and enforce pre-use equipment inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Ensure accurate entry and tracking of inventory and material movement within storage systems and ERP applications.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free shipping/receiving and storage environment.
  • Oversee wrapping, banding, and staging of equipment for shipment or pickup.
  • Review and approve shipping documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Supervise incoming goods inspection processes; ensure discrepancies, damages, and shortages are properly documented and resolved.
  • Partner with Asset Management and Operations teams to optimize equipment placement and maximize warehouse space utilization.
  • Lead and support warehouse and inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure proper asset maintenance, tracking, and documentation practices are followed.
  • Train, mentor, and develop team members while reinforcing safety, quality, and productivity expectations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow, efficiency, and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse operations, or inventory management within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of material handling, inventory control, and shipping/receiving processes.
  • Advanced forklift and rigging experience; overhead crane experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficient with computers, tablets, and inventory/ERP systems.
  • Ability to lead teams, prioritize tasks, and drive accountability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and safety.
  • Comfortable working in industrial environments (exposure to noise, heat, cold, dust, etc.).

Pay Rate Details: $65,000 - $75,000 per year
