Hexcel is currently seeking a Sr. International Trade Compliance Analyst for our Salt Lake City, UT, USA location.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

  • Serve as the U.S. trade compliance subjectmatter expert across CBP, FTR, EAR, ITAR, and OFAC regulations.
  • Manage daytoday import and export operations using external brokers and internal shipping teams, including GRI classification, SLI compliance, AES filings, and ACE audits.
  • Partner crossfunctionally to ensure compliance with TSCA, Dangerous Goods, and other regulatory requirements impacting international shipments.
  • Obtain, manage, and track EAR and ITAR licenses, and administer nonU.S. visitor access controls at U.S. facilities.
  • Review and approve international logistics invoicing, manage monthly ACH duty payments through ACE, and provide detailed reporting to Finance.
  • Establish, document, and maintain compliant trade and logistics procedures governing the movement of goods, data, and technology.
  • Develop and administer Free Trade Agreement programs (USMCA, KORUS, ILFTA), determine eligibility, and issue certificates of origin as requested.
  • Act as the U.S. ITC AX system expert, providing training, managing system maintenance, and ensuring accurate HTS, Schedule B, ECCN, and directdelivery configurations.
  • Lead supplychain security and trade optimization initiatives, including CTPAT and the Duty Drawback program, identifying dutyminimization opportunities.
  • Resolve restrictedparty screening results using Amber Road or similar tools and drive datadriven process and performance improvements with logistics partners and leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or International Trade required or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of three years of export/import compliance experience
  • Thorough working knowledge of and experience with U.S. CBP, ITAR, EAR, FTR laws and regulations.
  • Detailed understanding of Incoterms, global cargo insurance coverage, and shipping paperwork requirements.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels and support the delivery of trade compliance-related training in a global, cross functional environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products, document library systems, and database management.
  • Well-developed organizational, priority management and planning skills.
  • Working knowledge of integrated logistics management.
  • Proven problem solving and decision-making skills.
