| Primary Purpose of Position |
"This is a pooled posting in which the department is recruiting to fill two vacancies for Academic Advisor (#009985 and #001239. Applicants will be considered for both positions and offers will be extended to selected candidates based on the individual's education and experience."
The Academic Advisor provides academic advising to students as assigned. The Academic Advisor will make student referrals to support services in
CAE and to other appropriate services on-campus and off campus, tracks students' academic progress, curriculum patterns, co-curricular activities, etc.; collaborates with other
CAE and designated College staff to design and monitor individual academic enrichment plans, including supplemental instruction and tutoring, and collaborate with campus partners to facilitate workshops. This is full-time, twelve-month,
EPA non-teaching, non-tenure track position.
This opportunity supports the University's new centralized advising framework, which calls for the expansion of our current academic advising workforce.
Salary Range: $47,000-$50,000

CAE offers a wide-range of services and programs that promote student success, such as centralized academic advising, supplemental instruction, peer mentoring, tutoring, etc. The unit collaborates with various academic units to reinforce academic expectations and address factors that affect student success and graduation. |
| Minimum Requirements |
Master's Degree in relative field with 1-3 years of professional academic advising experience working with undergraduate students.
