SailPoint Lifecycle Governance & Workflow Leadership

  • Lead the security design, governance, and continuous improvement of SailPoint lifecycle states and workflows.

  • Align business rules with academic affiliations and instructional roles to enable accurate, consistent access decisions across central and distributed security teams.

Guest and Affiliate Identity Risk Management

  • Establish and govern secure identity lifecycle processes for guest and affiliate users, including sponsorship models, access scopes, and expiration controls.

  • Ensure nonemployee access is enabled appropriately while minimizing identityrelated risk.

IdentityDriven Process Improvement & Security Controls

  • Analyze and enhance identityrelated business processes supporting Distance Learning to address control gaps, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities.

  • Partner crossfunctionally to strengthen identity assurance while maintaining effective selfservice capabilities.

Enterprise Integrations & Access Oversight

  • Provide identity security oversight for integrations between SailPoint and enterprise systems such as directories, ERP, service management platforms, and learning management systems (e.g., Canvas).

  • Review identity data flows and access provisioning to ensure consistency, the ability to audit, and effective management of distributed security models.

Policy, Governance, and Senior Advisory Role

  • Develop and maintain IAM policies, standards, procedures, and documentation supporting compliance and audit readiness.

  • Serve as a senior subject matter expert by advising stakeholders, providing tierthree support, offering functional leadership, and mentoring entrylevel staff as needed.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and 4 years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 8 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).

  • Handson experience supporting Distance Learning, learning management systems (e.g., Canvas), or large academic or research institutions.

  • Experience developing and maintaining IAM policies, standards, and procedures aligned with regulatory and audit requirements.

  • Familiarity with security and privacy frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001/27002, or FERPArelated access considerations in higher education.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional); CISM (Certified Information Security Manager); SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer or IdentityNow certification; CIAM, IAM, or Zero Trust-related certifications (e.g., SSCP, CCSP); ITIL or service management certifications are a plus.
