Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support key people functions across the organization. This role combines strategic partnership with hands-on execution, with primary responsibility for recruiting, benefits administration, compensation support, and employee transitions.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive, and comfortable working closely with leaders to drive consistent, high-quality HR practices.

Key Responsibilities

HR Partnership

  • Partner with leaders to align people strategies with business goals
  • Provide guidance on team structure, workforce planning, and employee development
  • Support performance management and day-to-day employee relations
  • Manage offboarding processes for voluntary and involuntary separations
  • Coordinate final documentation, benefits continuation, and internal handoffs
  • Conduct exit interviews and track trends

Talent Acquisition

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting across assigned roles
  • Partner with hiring managers to define needs and drive efficient hiring processes
  • Oversee sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer delivery
  • Track recruiting metrics and improve processes and candidate experience

Benefits & Leave Administration

  • Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, and terminations
  • Serve as a primary contact for benefits-related questions
  • Lead open enrollment and coordinate with brokers, carriers, and payroll
  • Manage leave of absence programs (FMLA, CFRA, ADA, etc.), including tracking, documentation, and compliance
  • Support compensation decisions including offers, adjustments, and internal equity
  • Assist with job descriptions and compensation structure alignment
  • Contribute to annual review cycles and compensation planning
  • Maintain accurate compensation records and reporting

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including HRBP or advisory responsibilities
  • Strong background in recruiting, benefits, compensation, and employee lifecycle support
  • Knowledge of California employment laws and HR best practices
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience with HRIS, ATS, and benefits platforms

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field
  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP)
