YOUR IMPACT

As a Senior Account Executive on OpenText Cybersecurity's North American Data Security Strategic Sales Team, you will play a critical role in driving growth across a portfolio of named accounts while also acquiring new logos. You will help organizations strengthen their security posture by delivering solutions that address complex challenges around data protection, threat prevention, backup, and risk management. This is an opportunity to work with enterprise customers, partner closely with resellers, and make a measurable impact on revenue growth while helping customers secure their most valuable information assets.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

  • Drive new business development efforts by identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities within targeted accounts and net new logos.
  • Manage a portfolio of named accounts, uncovering upsell and cross-sell opportunities across OpenText Cybersecurity solutions.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Lead the full sales cycle, including discovery, solution positioning, product demonstrations, proposal development, negotiations, and closing activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including pre-sales, marketing, channel partners, and customer success to deliver strong customer outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with resellers and partners to expand market reach and accelerate sales opportunities.
  • Retain and grow customer relationships through proactive account management and trusted advisor engagement.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years of sales experience and a proven track record of exceeding quota.
  • Experience selling cybersecurity, cloud, SaaS, data protection, backup, email security, or enterprise software solutions into mid-market or enterprise organizations.
  • Strong understanding of security technologies including threat protection, endpoint security, managed detection and response, penetration testing, backup solutions, and Microsoft 365 or Google environments.
  • Ability to learn and position complex technical solutions and communicate business value to technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills across phone, email, virtual meetings, and in-person interactions.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce and Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven sales environment with a high level of ownership and accountability.
  • Familiarity with leveraging AI tools and technologies to enhance sales prospecting, account planning, and customer engagement.

The base salary range for the Virtual USA posting is $134,300-$167,900 USD, plus commission, bonus eligibility, and benefits. The base salary range for the Virtual Canada posting is $136,000-$170,000 CAD, plus commission, bonus eligibility, and benefits.

En tant que Senior Account Executive au sein de l'equipe Strategic Sales Data Security d'OpenText Cybersecurity en Amerique du Nord, vous jouerez un role essentiel dans la croissance d'un portefeuille de comptes nommes tout en developpant de nouveaux logos. Vous aiderez les organisations a renforcer leur posture de securite en proposant des solutions repondant a des enjeux complexes lies a la protection des donnees, a la prevention des menaces, a la sauvegarde et a la gestion des risques. Il s'agit d'une occasion de travailler avec des clients d'envergure, de collaborer etroitement avec des revendeurs et d'avoir un impact mesurable sur la croissance des revenus tout en aidant les clients a proteger leurs informations les plus precieuses.

  • Stimuler le developpement de nouvelles affaires en identifiant, qualifiant et concluant des opportunites au sein de comptes cibles et de nouveaux logos.
  • Gerer un portefeuille de comptes nommes en identifiant des opportunites de vente additionnelle et de vente croisee a travers les solutions OpenText Cybersecurity.
  • Developper et maintenir un pipeline de ventes solide afin d'atteindre les objectifs de revenus mensuels, trimestriels et annuels.
  • Gerer l'ensemble du cycle de vente, y compris la decouverte des besoins, le positionnement des solutions, les demonstrations de produits, l'elaboration des propositions, les negociations et la conclusion des ventes.
  • Collaborer avec les equipes internes, notamment les equipes avant-vente, marketing, partenaires de distribution et succes client, afin d'assurer des resultats solides pour les clients.
  • Developper et maintenir des relations avec les revendeurs et partenaires afin d'elargir la portee du marche et d'accelerer les opportunites de vente.
  • Fideliser et developper les relations clients grace a une gestion proactive des comptes et a une approche de conseiller de confiance.

Ce dont vous avez besoin pour reussir

  • Diplome universitaire ou experience equivalente avec plus de 8 ans d'experience en vente et un historique demontre de depassement des quotas.
  • Experience dans la vente de solutions de cybersecurite, cloud, SaaS, protection des donnees, sauvegarde, securite des courriels ou logiciels d'entreprise aupres d'organisations de taille intermediaire ou d'envergure.
  • Bonne comprehension des technologies de securite, notamment la protection contre les menaces, la securite des terminaux, la securite des courriels, la detection et reponse gerees, les tests d'intrusion, les solutions de sauvegarde ainsi que les environnements Microsoft 365 ou Google.
  • Capacite a apprendre et a positionner des solutions techniques complexes et a communiquer leur valeur d'affaires a des parties prenantes techniques et executives.
  • Excellentes competences en communication orale, ecrite et en presentation, par telephone, par courriel, lors de reunions virtuelles et en personne.
  • Maitrise des outils CRM comme Salesforce et des applications Microsoft Office, notamment Outlook, Excel, Word et PowerPoint.
  • Capacite a evoluer dans un environnement de vente rapide, axe sur les resultats, avec un fort niveau d'autonomie et de responsabilite.
  • Familiarite avec l'utilisation des outils et technologies d'IA pour ameliorer la prospection, la planification des comptes et l'engagement client.

La fourchette de salaire de base pour le poste virtuel aux Etats-Unis est de 134 300 $ a 167 900 $ USD, plus commissions, admissibilite aux primes et avantages sociaux. La fourchette de salaire de base pour le poste virtuel au Canada est de 136 000 $ a 170 000 $ CAD, plus commissions, admissibilite aux primes et avantages sociaux.
