Material Handler in Mojave, CA

Starting Pay: $24.25

Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Monday thru Friday [training shift may vary]

As a Material Handler, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!

• Work will be in warehouse doing functions such as: receiving, storing, and distributing material, tools, equipment, and products within establishments.

• Loads and unloads product to and from delivery vehicles and designated storage areas.

• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.

• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence, such as: size, type, style, color, or product code.

• Operates propane or electric powered forklift truck to move, stack, load or unload materials, parts, finished goods, etc.

• Load/unload trucks; Ensure shipments comply with carrier, customer, and regulatory requirements.

• Communicate with purchasing, warehouse, and AP teams to resolve discrepancies.

• Ensure proper routing of goods to storage, production, or distribution areas.

• Weigh-up chemicals for production according to scheduling.

• Receive incoming goods from suppliers or other distribution centers.

• Inspect for damage and verify quantities and communicate to cross functional departments.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day.

• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.

• Will be required to wear a respirator/PPE.
