Job Description:

Adolfson & Peterson Construction, one of the nation's top contractors, is seeking applications for a paid marketing internship.

Adolfson & Peterson Construction's Internship Program offers meaningful, real-world experience in a collaborative, professional environment. As a Marketing Intern supporting our team, you'll gain hands-on exposure to how marketing drives revenue in the construction industry while contributing to active projects and pursuits. This is a highly engaged role where your work will have a tangible impact on proposals, interviews, and business development efforts.

What You'll Experience:

• Exposure to how strategic marketing supports project wins and client relationships
• Opportunities to contribute to proposals and interviews for active pursuits
• Hands-on experience with industry tools including Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft 365, CRM platform(Unanet), Digital Asset Management system (OpenAsset), and others
• Mentorship from experienced marketing and business development professionals

What You'll Do:

• Assist with proposal formatting and interview preparation, including updating presentation materials
• Support CRM data entry, audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate data
• Upload and organize marketing assets within OpenAsset
• Conduct market and project research to support business development efforts
• Contribute ideas for social media strategy and content development
• Help develop and refine marketing templates for consistency and efficiency
• Support the planning and execution of internal and external events, with opportunities to lead select efforts
• Ensure accuracy, organization, and brand consistency across marketing materials
• Provide general support to the Marketing team as priorities evolve

Requirements:

• Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business, or related field
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable working within templates and brand standards
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud; PowerPoint and Word required
• Proactive, reliable, and driven to learn in a team environment
