Inova Epic Training is looking for a dedicated IT Training Coordinator to join the Team. This hybrid role will be full-time with a schedule that may vary based on business needs, including evenings, nights, or weekends.

The IT Training Coordinator oversees the scheduling, registration, and administration of training classes and activities. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills to ensure successful completion of tasks and projects, while fostering a collaborative and effective team environment. The Training Coordinator also collaborates closely with the manager to align team efforts with organizational goals.

IT Training Coordinator Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the planning and scheduling of all training classes, ensuring resource availability, adherence to timelines, and maintaining appropriate class sizes. Collaborate with trainers and managers to develop detailed class schedules, resource allocation, and availability estimates as needed.
  • Maintains clear and consistent communication.
  • Actively participates in virtual meetings, using video conferencing tools to foster strong relationships, promote effective communication, and enhance team collaboration.
  • Cultivates a culture of continuous improvement and customer-focused service. Identifies and facilitates solutions to challenges, acts as a liaison between trainers and the manager.
  • Regularly provides performance updates and escalate issues requiring higher-level attention.
  • Oversees and assist team members in assigned functional area, which may include but is not limited to, ensuring team is meeting key deliverables and quality standards, addressing and resolving challenges, and assisting in time management and scheduling; escalates issues to assists team members in the assigned functional area, which may include, but is not limited to, ensuring the team meets key deliverables and quality standards, addressing and resolving challenges, assisting with time management and scheduling, and escalating issues to the manager as needed.
  • Liaisons with HR for new hire training classes.
  • Collaborates with training team members and other stakeholders to ensure the training curriculum and training environments are updated to reflect current operational needs and workflows.
  • Assists in maintaining all relevant training policy and procedure documentation.
  • Coordinates schedules and training with team members and department leadership.
  • Supports program development, planning, coordination, and implementation as needed.
  • Diagnoses complex issues related to training or systems and recommend remedial actions or training to correct problems using comprehensive knowledge.
  • Creates and sends monthly training communications for the organization.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree; or Associate's degree and 2 years relevant professional experience in addition to the minimum experience required; or HS Diploma/GED and 4 years relevant professional experience in addition to the minimum experience required
  • Experience: 3 years of experience in coordinating the specific training area

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience managing student registration and classes in HealthStream preferred.
  • Previous experience providing support for Epic training for a large healthcare organization preferred.
