Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Shift Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations within our electrical power distribution environment. This role is responsible for driving production performance, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining a strong safety culture.

The ideal candidate brings technical knowledge of electrical power distribution systems along with proven leadership experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

What You'll Do

• Lead and supervise production teams to meet daily output, quality, and efficiency goals
• Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with company standards and specifications
• Track and report key performance metrics (production, scrap, downtime, etc.)
• Maintain accurate production logs and documentation
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean manufacturing practices

Promote and enforce a strong safety-first culture

• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and workflow to maintain optimal operations
• Troubleshoot production issues and partner with maintenance/engineering to minimize downtime
• Train, coach, and develop employees to improve performance and engagement
• Conduct shift meetings and ensure effective communication across teams

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certifications preferred
• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience, with leadership experience in a supervisory or lead role
• Technical understanding of electrical power distribution systems
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards
• Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in electrical or electronics manufacturing
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
