Software Engineer - Hybrid position

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Irving, TX. This is a 24+ month contract opportunity.

This is a pure development role focused on writing code and software development. The selected candidate will join an ongoing project to implement an underwriting workflow using PEGA, assist with the creation of a case manual workflow, and handle migrating from PEGA to PEGA SS. This position is hybrid, requiring three days onsite and two days remote.

Responsibilities:

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering
• Contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables
• Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges
• Migrate from PEGA to PEGA SS
• Support the building out of integration details for reporting
• Perform rollouts, testing, etc.
• Code and complete deliverables
• Perform peer reviews
• Resolve complex issues

Requirements:

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
• Strong software development skills and experience with Pega (latest version)
• Experience with Pega Constellation (user interface within PEGA)
• Experience with React, Java, and SQL Server
• Strong theoretical understanding of Pega Constellation
• Hands-on experience implementing at least a basic Constellation application
• Solid Pega Platform fundamentals

Desired skills:

• Experience delivering end-to-end Constellation applications in production
• Advanced UI customization or deep DX API knowledge
• Exposure to advanced integration, theming, or performance tuning in Constellation
• Ability to work independently

Pay Rate: $43.59 : $51.59 Per Hour
