JOB OVERVIEW:

The Strategic Marketing and Brand Management Manager is responsible for supporting and leading downstream marketing and branding initiatives for Brasseler Medical. Lead and/or support evaluation of strategic and financial attractiveness of growth opportunities, including disruptive campaigns, customer and key opinion leader feedback/insights, branding initiatives and digital marketing. Lead market assessment and business case development. Ensure team alignment on strategic rationale, commercial strategy and financial returns on investment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION:

  • Leading the digital marketing, creative services, and strategic brand management. Accountable for modernizing the businesses digital marketing and strategic brand management capabilities, processes, platforms and tools to drive commercial excellence, e-commerce, create competitive advantage and accelerate sustainable, profitable growth.

  • Develop global marketing and promotional plans designed to ensure successful response from key customers and drive the implementation of these plans with sales management.

  • Analyze brand positioning, shape and communicate our vision and mission

  • Translate brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies

  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs

  • Monitor market trends and research consumer markets

  • Conduct market research to analyze competitive activity and work to identify key strategic segments and messaging for product lines.

  • Meet with customers, partners and field sales representatives to develop and execute strategies and tactics in partnership with sales leadership

  • Engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL), actively participate in advisory board meetings and keep in frequent contact with KOLs to incorporate their input into the businesses strategic plans.

  • Prepare selling and product positioning materials to support the sales force and maintain frequent communication with them, providing high-value product and market insights.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous people management experience

  • Experience developing and successfully executing marketing plans

  • Heavy Upstream and downstream medical device marketing experience

  • Experience in strategic product development planning

  • Experience developing brand strategy and tactics to grow volume and market share

  • Demonstrated success in developing relationships with colleagues, customers and industry KOLs

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, or related field required; Master's degree/MBA in same field preferred;

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Proven ability to work in, and motivate cross-functional teams

  • Strong knowledge of the global healthcare market

  • Ability to quickly develop relationships and rapport with individuals at all levels and from all cultures.

  • Ability to clearly communicate marketing strategy and tactical plans to applicable field teams

  • Strong organizational skills. Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-moving environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple products / projects

  • Skills in financial analysis, and forecasting

  • Excellent interpersonal, selling, communication and presentation skills

  • Independence, energy, and positive attitude

  • Ability to adapt and change within dynamic corporate and business environment

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Travel typically less than 50%. Office environment.

  • Office environment; Job may require long periods of sitting, standing, telephone work, computer work

The posted range for this position is $99,622 to $155,660 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.

This position is eligible for a bonus not reflected in the posted range.
