ROLE SUMMARY:
The Senior Manager, Market Development at Quanterix is a highly cross-functional role responsible for bridging Marketing, Sales, and Product to accelerate revenue growth and market adoption across the company's portfolio, including ultra-sensitive immunoassays, spatial biology solutions, Accelerator services, and Lucent Diagnostics.
This individual operates at the intersection of strategy and execution-translating market insights into impactful sales enablement, training, and demand generation initiatives. The role is designed to spend approximately one-third of time aligned to each function-Marketing, Sales, and Product-while working in close partnership with the Director of Commercial Operations to ensure alignment with broader commercial strategy, processes, and performance goals.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Sales Enablement & Training Leadership (Core Ownership)


  • Own the global sales enablement strategy, ensuring the field is equipped with the tools, knowledge, and messaging required to win across immunoassays, spatial, services, and diagnostics offerings
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive sales training programs with SMEs across sales onboarding and continuous learning
  • Lead the creation and maintenance of high-impact enablement materials, including:

    • Battlecards
    • Competitive positioning frameworks
    • Product, application, and clinical value training content


  • Serve as the primary owner and administrator of Highspot, optimizing content organization, adoption, and performance tracking
  • Partner closely with the Director of Commercial Operations and Sales Leadership to identify skill gaps, align on enablement priorities, and continuously evolve training programs


Cross-Functional Market Development


  • Act as a strategic liaison between Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to ensure alignment across the full Quanterix portfolio
  • Work in partnership with the Director of Commercial Operations to align messaging, processes, and tools with commercial execution and pipeline management
  • Translate complex scientific capabilities-including ultra-sensitive biomarker detection, spatial biology, and translational services-into clear, differentiated value propositions for the field
  • Provide structured field feedback and market insights to inform product roadmap, assay development, and marketing strategies
  • Support product and service launches with coordinated enablement and go-to-market plans


Demand Generation & Growth Initiatives


  • Collaborate with Marketing and the Director of Commercial Operations to shape and execute lead generation strategies aligned to key customer segments across research, translational, and clinical markets
  • Ensure alignment between campaign messaging, sales narratives, and pipeline strategy to improve conversion rates and pipeline velocity
  • Partner with Sales to optimize lead follow-up processes, pipeline progression, and overall funnel performance
  • Contribute to the development of account-based marketing (ABM) and targeted growth initiatives, particularly for high-value strategic accounts


Success Metrics:


  • Sales readiness and training effectiveness (adoption, feedback, performance improvement)
  • Utilization and impact of enablement content (e.g., Highspot engagement)
  • Improvement in win rates and competitive positioning across portfolio offerings
  • Contribution to pipeline growth, funnel conversion, and forecast accuracy
  • Alignment across Marketing, Sales, Product, and Commercial Operations


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's degree in marketing, business, biology, or a related field
  • 7-10+ years of experience in market development, analysis, product marketing, sales enablement, or related commercial roles in life sciences, diagnostics, or biotech
  • Proven track record of building and scaling sales enablement programs in a complex, multi-product environment
  • Experience supporting technologies such as immunoassays, spatial biology, or diagnostics strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of go-to-market strategy, commercial operations, and scientific buyer journeys
  • Experience collaborating with Commercial Operations or Revenue Operations functions
  • Hands-on experience with enablement platforms (e.g., Highspot) and CRM systems
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and training skills, with the ability to translate complex science into clear commercial value
  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced, evolving organization
