Scrum Master/PM - Agile Delivery (Ecommerce Backend) Location: Hybrid - Southeast Michigan Contract Type: Contract (TEKsystems) TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Scrum Master/PM with strong Agile delivery and Scrum leadership experience to support backend ecommerce platforms. This role focuses on driving Agile execution, backlog readiness, and crossfunctional delivery across complex, global teams. Role Overview The Product Manager will partner closely with engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders to guide Agile delivery for enterprise e-commerce backend systems. Acting as a Scrum Master and delivery lead, this individual will ensure teams follow Agile best practices and deliver deliver high-quality software efficiently and predictably. Top Skills (Must Have) * Product Management within Agile environments * Agile / Scrum delivery leadership * Jira (Super User level) * User story definition and backlog refinement * Scrum ceremonies and team facilitation * Ecommerce and backend system experience * Experience working with complex, global teams Key Responsibilities Agile Leadership & Scrum Execution * Serve as Scrum Master for multiple backend ecommerce development teams * Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) * Ensure adherence to Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Lean principles Backlog & Delivery Management * Partner with Product Owners and technical leads to maintain Sprint +2 ready backlogs * Ensure user stories are well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with business goals * Track delivery progress, dependencies, and risks Program & Cross-Team Coordination * Support Program Increment (PI) planning and execution * Coordinate delivery across multiple teams and stakeholders * Provide visibility into timelines, risks, and milestones Process Improvement & Coaching * Drive continuous improvement and Agile maturity * Identify and remove blockers and delivery impediments * Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile best practices Tooling & Reporting * Utilize Jira and Atlassian tools for backlog management, sprint tracking, and reporting * Support release coordination and execution Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field * 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Scrum Master, or Technical Program Management * Strong experience leading Agile teams in ecommerce or backend systems * Advanced Jira experience (backlogs, sprints, reports, releases) * Solid understanding of SDLC, QA processes, and deployment patterns * Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences Nice to Have Skills * Product roadmap ownership and strategy * Stakeholder and project management experience * Scrum certification (CSM, PSM I) * Experience with APIs, integrations, and data flows * Exposure to AI/ML tools supporting Agile delivery Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Dearborn, MI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70.00 - $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
