As a Security Officer Retail Patrol Driver in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post. Working with an agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will put people first, support daily operations with integrity, and contribute to a welcoming environment through teamwork.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, stockroom areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to designated areas, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Support retail operations by assisting with crowd flow, monitoring high-traffic areas, and providing directions and general assistance while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
