Job Description We are looking for an experienced structured cable technician to lead a crew of 2 to 4 technicians across several commercial projects in the Myrtle Beach area. Responsibilities -Run commercial structured cabling projects start to finish -Read and execute from prints and drawings -Establish and manage cable pathways -Pull, dress, label, and terminate copper cabling -Build out and organize telecom/comm rooms -Perform testing using Fluke testers -Proper setup -Correct cable IDs -Accurate project naming -Troubleshoot cabling and test failures -Lead and manage crews -Keep teams productive -Ensure quality workmanship -Provide daily progress reports -Cable counts -Work completed -Issues or delays Top Skills Cable, Cabling, Cat6, Cat5, Construction, Termination testing, Install, Low voltage, Blueprint, Cable installation, Troubleshooting, Structured cabling, Fiber optic Additional Skills & Qualifications -Fiber experience (not required) -Healthcare / hospital environment experience (not required) -Night shift flexibility -Out-of-town travel flexibility Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Myrtle Beach, SC. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
