Position Overview: We are hiring EntryLevel Data Center / Cable Technicians to support a largescale data center construction project. This role is ideal for individuals with construction or handson labor experience who are comfortable working long hours in physically demanding environments and are eager to learn a skilled trade within the data center industry. This position requires a strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work mandatory overtime, including extended shifts and weekends. Key Responsibilities: * Pull and route fiber and structured cabling throughout data center environments. * Assemble, stack, and drill equipment racks. * Scan, label, and port equipment. * Perform general installation and cablerelated tasks. * Follow safety procedures and job site protocols. * Support experienced technicians with daily installation work. Required Qualifications: * Experience working in a physically demanding environment such as construction, skilled trades, military, or similar handson roles. * Comfortable using hand tools on a daily basis. * Ability to work on ladders and scissor lifts during 12hour shifts. * Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn. * Reliable attendance and punctuality history. * Mechanical aptitude preferred. NicetoHave Skills: * Structured cabling or cable pulling experience. * Lowvoltage installation. * Fiber optic cable pulling or installation. * Prior data center or telecommunications exposure. Work Schedule & Overtime Requirements: * 12hour shifts (typically 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM). * Monday-Saturday, with occasional Sundays. * Can work up to 80-100 hours per week. * Mandatory overtime can be required. * Must be open to night or second shifts as needed. Physical & Work Environment Requirements: * Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and work on your feet for extended periods. * Comfortable working at heights using ladders and lifts. * Ability to work in construction environments. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ashburn, VA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
