The Department Administrator provides leadership and direct supervision to a departmental administrative pool and a Program Coordinator, ensuring that daily operations align with departmental goals. This position is responsible for fostering a collaborative culture through active mentoring, performance management, and workload balancing, while serving as a key liaison between faculty and staff to establish clear service boundaries and efficient processes. This position also plays a key role supporting the departments success by providing administrative support to the department chair, supporting department initiatives, and overseeing critical processes. This is a hybrid position, with the expectation of at least 4 days in the office. Please note, this position is not eligible for H-1B or Green Card sponsorship. This position does not offer a STEM OPT training program. Administrative Supervision (45%)
