ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works closely with the Vice President to ensure that the organization's strategic plan is supported by the Neuroscience Services goals and objectives.
- Creates and implements action plans to achieve product line strategies and goals.
- Works with Medical Staff leaders and Neuroscience team to assure that the program meets accreditation requirements as appropriate.
- Collaborates with the marketing department to develop marketing materials, processes, publication and dissemination of program information e.g. program brochure and website.
- Is responsible for planning, directing and supervising all operations of the product line programs and clinics. Recruits, trains and evaluates team leaders and staff.
- Develops, implements, and evaluates product line policies, goals, and objectives to ensure delivery of quality care, efficient operations and compliance to regulations of all regulatory agencies so that the Mercy Health System's Mission, Vision and Values are fulfilled.
- Works closely with the program physicians in developing and implementing strategic plans, quality of patient care services and Performance Improvement initiatives.
- Interprets and implements department and organizational policies.
- Participates in the development and monitoring of product line budgets.
- Participates in appropriate organizational committees.
- Investigates and resolves complaints, or refers unusual problems to superiors.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing (or similar) with Masters degree preferred.
- At least three (3) years of responsible management experience in Healthcare specialty care product line area of accountability, preferably in the area of Neuroscience Services.

SPECIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS The Special Physical Demands are considered Essential Job Function of the position with or without accommodations.
- The employee must occasionally lift, move or exert force up to 25 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; reach; use hands and fingers for handling, fingering, and feeling; talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. Vision required is frequent close and distance vision with the ability to adjust focus. The employee must occasionally use color and peripheral vision along with depth perception.
SUPERVISES Manages product line Team Leader(s), Program Coordinator(s), and Staff. Works closely with product line physicians and referring physicians. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of assigned. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. PAY RANGE:
$127,281.94 - $203,651.11
