As a Security Officer Armed Driver Rover in Odessa, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will drive through assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This role combines customer service, communication, and rapid response while supporting a caring culture built on teamwork, reliability, and integrity. Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with local law enforcement when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including entrances, exits, sales floor areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, as assigned.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential theft concerns, and help to deter unwanted behavior through visible presence and professional interaction.
• Support opening and closing activities, assist with access control and restricted area monitoring, and report hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues to site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A minimum of 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or a minimum of 5 or more years of armed security-related experience, is required.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Must possess one or more of the following;
  • Minimum of three (3) years of military, law enforcement, or corrections officer experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years of employment in an armed security role
  • Current employment with Allied Universal with a minimum of four (4) years armed experience
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
