As a Security Officer Access Management in Perryville, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support the flow of people and vehicles. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures for access control, visitor processing, and other security-related activities at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, maintain visitor and delivery logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to the facility, warehouse, and/or distribution areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, loading zones, and/or dock areas, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.
• Observe site activity and report unusual conditions, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns, while supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
