Behavior Paraprofessioanl Substitute

Description:
Minnetonka Public Schools is accepting applications for Behavior Paraprofessional substitute for the current school year. This position needs to be filled promptly until the end of the school year 6/10/2026.

We are actively reviewing applications as they are submitted.

Responsibilities:

• Support, modify, adjust and monitor behavior programs based on IEP goals for special education
• Implement positive behavior strategies and de-escalation techniques as directed
• Assit with supervision during instructional and non-instructional needs as directed
• Apply student management techniques and reinforcement schedules under the supervision and direction of teacher/IEP manager and/or building principal
• Perform other duties of a similar nature or level

Requirements:

• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Temporary Behavior Para Payrate
$22.36 per hour
Not medical or dental benefit eligible.
