Our client is looking for a Senior Art Director to join their team!
This is a 7 month long, 40 hours/week contract assignment that will require onsite/hybrid work in Los Angeles, CA. Responsibilities:
- Lead the visual strategy and creative direction for full-funnel marketing campaigns supporting large-scale immersive experiences, ensuring a cohesive narrative from awareness through conversion.
- Define and evolve the creative identity across multiple touchpoints-including digital, motion, environmental, and on-site marketing-bringing a unified vision to experiential destinations.
- Concept and execute high-impact campaigns that elevate brand storytelling, translating complex business goals into compelling, consumer-facing creative.
- Direct and mentor internal designers and external agency partners, providing clear creative guidance while contributing hands-on to key design work.
- Oversee the development of visual systems including layout, typography, color, motion, and imagery to ensure consistency and excellence across all outputs.
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing, production, and leadership teams to align creative vision with strategic objectives, timelines, and executional realities.
- Lead and art direct photoshoots and content creation, collaborating with photographers, stylists, and producers to deliver premium campaign assets.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in art direction or brand design, ideally within entertainment, experiential, or global consumer brands.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in visual storytelling, campaign development, and translating strategy into cohesive creative systems.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire creative teams and external partners while maintaining a high level of craft and attention to detail.
- Expertise across design disciplines including digital, motion, typography, and environmental/experiential design.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate creative concepts and influence stakeholders.
- Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and presentation platforms.
- Experience working in fast-paced, highly collaborative environments with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $150.00-$200.00 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
