THE ROLE:

You will operate as a trusted connector and influencer between AMD's central IP organization and SoC product teams. This role centers on partnership, communication, and leadership-aligning stakeholders to drive shared outcomes in a complex, highly matrixed environment.

You will navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and create clarity where information is incomplete or evolving. Success in this role requires strong judgment, presence, and the ability to build trust quickly with engineers, program leaders, and executive stakeholders. You will translate complex technical work into clear narratives, align teams around decisions and commitments, and ensure expectations are consistently understood and met.

This is a highvisibility role with meaningful ownership, wellsuited for someone who thrives in fastmoving environments and leads through credibility, relationships, and influence rather than formal authority.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own the customer interface between SoC teams and the central IP organization, ensuring clear accountability and alignment.
  • Drive earlydefinition and alignment on IP scope, requirements, dependencies, and delivery commitments.
  • Leadendtoend execution of IP deliverables, ensuring readiness for integration and ontime delivery.
  • Identify and manage crossfunctional risks, gaps, and tradeoffs; drive timely resolution through influence.
  • Establish and maintain integrated program plans with clear milestones, decisions, and dependencies.
  • Facilitateeffective program reviews and communications with engineering partners and leadership.
  • Continuously improve customerfacing execution by refining processes, operating models, and tool usage, including AIenabled capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across a broad range of audiences.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong understanding of the semiconductor environment, including IP development and/or SoC design and integration flows.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex programs in highly matrixed, cross-functional, and cross-geography environments.
  • Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders, align expectations, and drive outcomes through influence.
  • Experience breaking down complex problems and driving practical, scalable solutions.
  • Background in identifying process gaps and implementing operational improvements.
  • Comfort using common program management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).Interest in or hands-on experience applying AI tools to improve productivity and program outcomes.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
  • Formal Project Management education, PMP certified
