Job Description




As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Specialist in Milton, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, hallways, waiting areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general assistance, and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted or patient care areas.
  • Support healthcare operations by reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious behavior, and by coordinating with site personnel during medical-related emergencies, evacuations, and other urgent events.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
