JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS The Laboratory of Dr. Misha Kwasniewski in the College of Agricultural Sciences, Department of Food Science at Penn State, University Park campus, is seeking a temporary, part-time research assistant to support ongoing analytical research projects related to beverage chemistry. Duties will include: Perform advanced analytical chemistry techniques including UHPLC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS, preparative HPLC, and NMR to characterize beverage samples Analyze and interpret complex analytical datasets Assist with experimental design and method development Work with graduate students and other lab members on ongoing projects as needed Skills: Advanced proficiency in analytical chemistry instrumentation and methodology Strong data analysis and interpretation skills Excellent oral and written communication skills This position requires a Ph.D. in Food Science, Chemistry, or a closely related field.
