THE OPPORTUNITY

Silvus is seeking an Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager who will report to the Senior Accounting Manager on the Finance team. The successful individual in this role will lead the full AR cycle including invoicing, collections, and reserves at Silvus Technologies, while providing oversight of AP inquiries and vendor communication. This role manages the Accounts Receivable team and supports month-end close.

This position is based at Silvus Technologies' headquarters in the heart of vibrant West Los Angeles, CA, and is on a hybrid schedule. A minimum of 3 days onsite per week is expected. On-site days are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the full-cycle AR process from order release to receipt. Monitor AR reports to ensure accuracy of the accounts receivable and proactive collection efforts.

  • Oversee AP inquiries and streamline communication with vendors and internal teams.

  • Supervise, train, and mentor junior AR staff, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth.

  • Maintain financial procedures and controls throughout the department with multiple direct reports.

  • Oversee the accounting process for accounts receivable, client collections and associated reserves.

  • Supervise accounts payable reporting processes to ensure accurate disbursements.

  • Manage monthly close activities, including journal entry and account reconciliation review, to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the Accounts Receivable and Payable accounts.

  • Engage in ad hoc reporting to assist the management in the decision-making process.

  • Perform other related duties of which the above are representative.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • 5+ years of Finance experience (3+ years of AR experience preferred), with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.

  • Resourceful; can devise creative solutions to problems.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts.

  • All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Current CPA license.

  • Previous experience with Oracle and Tableau.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Office environment.

  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.

COMPENSATION: $95,000 - $130,000 / annually
