• High School diploma or GEDpreferred.Otherwise,demonstratedability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, anddemonstratedability to perform simple addition, subtraction,multiplicationand division.
• At least1yearof manufacturing assembly experience, preferably in related electronics.
• Followstrict Federal Aviation Agency (F.A.A.) regulationsregardingSafety Sensitive Work (S.S.W.),employeeenrollmentand participation in the company's "F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program" is a requirement for this position.

As anElectronics Assembler I, you will:

• Assemble high reliability chassis and final assemblies using circuit cards, stand offs, wire harnesses, solder and crimping, electrical and mechanical instruments. Complete inspections and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) checks.
• Perform highreliabilitysoldering and crimping operations on complex sub-assemblies, electronic, and mechanical assemblies, repair of circuit boards, jumper wires, and wire harnesses.
• Solder/crimp wires and jumpers to multiple pin connectors/assemblies to meet government/customer inspection and specification.
• Decipher assembly drawings Bill of Material (B.O.M) and work with electronic work instructions.
• Know and follow applicable Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) procedures; understand high reliability soldering specifications and meet certification requirements as applicable.
• Be familiar with several different cleaning procedures, different potting compounds, and paints.
• Use a variety of tools such as regular hand tools, dial torque wrenches, auto torque drivers, crimpers, fixtures, digital calipers, solder iron, hot tweezers, heatgun, microscope, and high-resolution equipment.
• Clean andmaintainwork areas and equipment including tools, keeping area clean from FOD.
