Position Summary

Performs the billing, follow-up and collection efforts. Takes an active role in maintaining and collecting accounts receivable and assists in reviewing/selecting accounts to be placed with outside collection agencies. Assists in the admission process of patients in regards to insurance verification. Assists responsible parties with establishing financial arrangements.

Education:

High School graduate or equivalent required.

Experience:

One (1) year experience required.

Physical requirements:

Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Job may be defined as sedentary when walking and standing are required occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
