What We Offer
The Turnaround Planner prepares turnaround job plans and required resources to ensure that turnaround work is sufficiently prepared for a safe, effective and efficient execution.
Responsible for creating detail work packages for Maintenance, inspection and repair activities to be performed during the turnaround. Perform walkthroughs, collect and review documentation, meet with asset engineers, Project Managers, and other stakeholders for task clarity. Prepare job plans with accurate Bill of Material, following Covestro specifications and standards. Responsible for planning assigned AWRs (Additional Work Requests), including the ability to plan discovery work that may emerge during turnaround execution. Ensure that jobs are planned in a timely manner to support the TA preparation schedule. Responsible for obtaining all the relevant documentation associated with the turnaround scope and assisting TA Planning Lead in preparation for scope review sessions. Responsible for analyzing Project Issue for Construction (IFC) packages and creating job plans for integrated scope to be executed during the TA event. Support Scheduling department with inner and outer logic ties for planning and execution optimization Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning functions by leveraging new technologies and planning tools within the TA process. Act as backup to Planning Lead position by facilitating weekly planner meetings, scope review sessions, work package validations and onboarding contract planners.
What You Offer
High School diploma or equivalent with 12 years working experience in an industrial manufacturing environment with TA experience; OR Associate's degree or equivalent with 7 years working experience in an industrial manufacturing environment with TA experience. 6 years' experience in Turnaround and Maintenance job planning The eligibility to apply for and obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) within a reasonable timeframe
Ability to climb stairs and work at heightsmore than100 feet; ability to climb vertical ladders. Mustpossesssufficient physical strength to perform requirements in a safe manner without endangering self or fellowworkers. Ability to work at a computerworkstationfor prolonged durations daily. Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed during Turnaround Execution.
Knowledge of fixed equipment, piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, project and rotating equipment planning Demonstrate ability to read drawings including P&IDs, isometrics, schematics, etc. Effective written and oral communication skills Effective problem-solving skills Demonstrate organizational ability. Demonstrate experience working in collaborative team environment. Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. Self -motivated, energetic, dependable, honest, and thorough. Proficient in computer skills (MS Office products) Knowledgeable with planning tools (Ex: SAP, ROSER, STO) Working knowledge of Planning activities and how they apply to an execution schedule. Basic Knowledge of Level, 1, 2, 3, and 4 schedules
