Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a skilled and detailoriented Medical Laboratory Technician in this potential opportunity to support highquality diagnostic testing and patient care. In this role, you'll perform a variety of laboratory procedures that play a critical part in diagnosing, treating, and monitoring patient conditions. Location: Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center Charleston, South Carolina Schedule: Full-Time Opportunitys with Day, Evening and Night availablility Compensation: Competitive Pay
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to)

    Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, microbiology, and other departments as assigned.

  • Prepare, analyze, and interpret specimens with precision and adherence to established protocols.

  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.

  • Ensure quality control, quality assurance, and accurate documentation of all test results.

  • Collaborate with clinical staff to support timely and accurate patient care.

  • Follow all safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines (CLIA, CAP, OSHA, etc.).

Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.

  • ASCP or AMT certification (or eligibility) preferred.

  • Previous clinical laboratory experience strongly preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
