The Department of Human Services (DHS) at the Cambria County Assistance Office (CAO) is seeking a dedicated individual with strong clerical, organizational, and multitasking skills to join our team. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Clerical Supervisor 2, you will play a crucial role in directing the clerical unit, supporting accuracy and efficiency, and assisting the income maintenance caseworker staff. You will monitor and evaluate the team's work while providing instructions, guidance, and training as needed. In this position, you will use your knowledge of computer systems to process assistance benefits and assign tasks to staff. You will also address personnel matters that arise and recommend appropriate steps. As a key contributor, you will help maintain an organized, consistent, and effective workflow throughout the office. Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. Your schedule may change based on operational needs.
- Overtime and travel as needed

- Work Conditions: Assigned duties are performed in a controlled office environment. In counties with District Offices, employees may be reassigned to different work sites due to operational needs. Reassignments will be made in compliance with contract language.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office at the Cambria CAO. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Specific details of the telework schedule will be discussed during the interview process.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Clerical Supervisor 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year as a Clerical Assistant 3 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Two years of as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.

- Hiring preference for this vacancy may be given to candidates who live within Cambria County. If no eligible candidates who live within Cambria County apply for this position, candidates who reside in other counties may be considered.
