Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Job Summary

The Customer Operations Specialist is responsible for managing complex customer support activities, coordinating cross-functional processes, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role supports proposal development, cost estimating, and order execution while working closely with sales, operations, and supply chain teams. The position requires strong SAP experience, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with long-term potential based on performance.

Job Responsibilities



  • Resolve complex customer issues by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage end-to-end customer requests, including pricing, scheduling, production, and invoicing
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, supply chain, and engineering teams to ensure timely delivery
  • Provide proactive communication to customers regarding order status and issue resolution
  • Prepare proposals and support cost estimating activities using established processes
  • Track and analyze sales performance, forecasts, and key metrics
  • Monitor on-time delivery and support strategies to improve performance
  • Identify fulfillment risks and work with teams to develop alternative solutions
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting using SAP and other systems
  • Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency


Job Requirements



  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in customer service, operations, or supply chain support
  • Strong experience with SAP (required)
  • Experience with Salesforce (preferred)
  • Ability to manage complex customer interactions and problem resolution
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
  • Experience in forecasting, reporting, and performance tracking
  • Ability to work onsite, Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm


Education



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Equivalent experience may be considered


Work Experience



  • 4-5+ years of relevant experience required for contract consideration
  • 6+ years of experience preferred for permanent placement
